Here at Denver Portraits, my goal is to provide ALL Coloradans with a personal & professional photoshoot experience, capturing exceptional images that will last a lifetime- all done with personal care at an affordable rate.
Biography
Before I was a full-time photographer, I was a 4th grade teacher, so working with families is something I’ve always enjoyed.
My better half, Steph, and I have 2 perfect rescue pups, Django and Hiro, who fill our lives with love and loose hair. I’m an avid fly fisherman, a low key foodie, and a fair-weather baseball fan and volunteer coach. I’m Uncle Joe to 2 beautiful nieces and 1 sweet nephew, all big pieces of my heart.
Originally from the Bay Area, I came to Colorado in 2014 from Arizona, where I’d attended ASU, played baseball for the Sun Devils, and served as a public school teacher in North Phoenix. The Rocky Mountains have called to me since I was young and Colorado is my forever home.
I consider myself incredibly lucky to do the work that I do. It’s been my joy to serve Colorado families since 2017, and with any luck my continued joy for many years to come. It’s an honor for me to help create images that will pass through generations, I hope we have the pleasure of working together.
